My Story
Hi, my name is Kelly Kostelnik. A little bit about me. I grew up riding horses and my passion for them has only grown. My journey to become a photographer started in high school. Later I attended Penn State University where I received a BA in Integrative Arts combining Music and Photography with a minor in Equine Science.
After graduation I returned home to Maryland and became a Photography teacher at the high school where I got my start. At the same time, I also joined TSS Photography as a youth sports photographer. After 3 years of teaching I decided it was time for to pursue TSS sports photography full time. I joined the franchise as an apprentice franchisee. After 5 years working for them it was time for me to make another change.
It was time to break out on my own and dive into being more creative with my photography. As I was building my company, I worked for several wedding companies and have photographed hundreds of weddings at this point. It is always exciting helping couples capture their special day.
This brings us to now. I am grateful for all the experiences I received throughout my journey to this point. With these varied photography experiences, my own personal equine experiences and my passion to capture special moments, I can expertly cover anything from a small private session, to multiple ring/day horse shows, to small and large scale weddings, destination weddings, and much more. I would be honored to capture your special moments.
